All electronic devices emit Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) which is one of the chief pollutant causing indoor air pollution. Organizations can effectively reduce the pollution levels in offices by shutting down the electronic equipment not in use, switching off the unused lights, fans and computers.

Have good ventilation systems in the office. In case the offices buildings are completely air conditioned (AC), regular cleaning and maintenance of the AC vents, cleaning of carpets and dust the insides of the office.

Have more indoor plants like Areca Palm, Peace Lily, Spider plant, Money Plant and Snake Plant. .

Use paints that are based with water and not oil. The less oil products that you are using, the better off that you’re going to be because that means less oil is being produced overall.

Encourage car pooling within the organization. An aware orgnazation can encourage various other corporates to follow. Corporates can also morally incentivise their employees using car pool or public transports.

Buy electricity generated from renewable energies i.e. hydroelectric, wind or solar power.
