He is former Chairman, Centre for Chest Surgery and Director, Institute of Robotic Surgery, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He is former Professor of Surgery, All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi and has more than 35 years of experience in public service at AIIMS.

Dr. Kumar is a pioneer in Chest Surgery in India with largest experience of Open, Key hole and Robotic Chest Surgery. He is leading many Educational & Research initiatives in Chest Care across India with over 100 publications in National and International journals.

Dr. Belal Bin Asaf is presently the Associate Director, Institute of Chest Surgery, Chest Onco Surgery and Lung Transplantation, Medanta Gurugam. He is former consultant Centre for Chest Surgery, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. He has a vast experience of providing surgical care to patients suffering from various chest diseases. He is an established Thoracic Surgeon with special interest in managing lung cancer and is an expert in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery for lung cancer.

Abhishek is a young passionate citizen of Delhi, with a keen desire to serve the society. After completing his Engineering and a short stint at Stanford University (Summer Course) and International Trade Centre, Geneva (6 months internship), he decided to dedicate himself full-time to growth of Lung Care Foundation. Presently, he is the only Founder Trustee working full-time for the foundation. He has been the driving force behind major initiatives of the foundation like Guinness World Record, Best Club in Schools, Asthma Manual for Schools, Artificial Lung Installation to Highlight the ill-effects of air pollution and Doctors for Clean Air Initiative.

His current focus is to develop a country wide chain of comprehensive lung health centres providing preventive, diagnostic, curative and rehabilitated care under one roof.
