Over 5K students achieve World Record for largest lung representation

In a bid to create widespread awareness about the ill-effects of pollution, over 5,000 students set a Guinness World Record by forming the largest human image of an organ (Lung) at the Thyagaraj Stadium here on Saturday.

Lung Care Foundation created A Guinness World Record for Largest Human Image of an Organ by 5003 Students from Delhi – NCR. The video is uploaded at under Video’s section.

In continuation to our efforts to garner citizen’s attention to adverse effects of air pollution on lung health and call for action by citizens themselves, Lung Care Foundation decided to make a World Record on 23 December 2017 at Thyagraj Stadium in Delhi:

5003 School Children of Delhi Schools from over 35 different schools from Delhi-NCR, the best Ambassador of Humanity for such a noble cause, formed a human image of a lung
They made a Guinness World Record for the largest human image of an organ by breaking previous records of China and U.A.E.
These children went through individual briefing programs at their schools and made a commitment to their contribution to a cleaner & healthier Air.
The program was a huge success; it was watched live on Facebook by over 1 lakh people and #MySolutionToPollution was trending on twitter with over 51 Million impressions
The program has been appreciated by messages from Honourable President of India, Honourable Prime Minister of India and Honourable Lt Governor of Delhi who was also present as the chief guest at the venue.
