Lung Care Foundation and SCOPE jointly organized an interactive session on ‘HAPPY HEALTHY LUNGS: Medical and Social Perspective to Lung Care’ at SCOPE CONVENTION CENTRE ON 19TH July 2017. The event began with the address by Dr. U.D. Choubey, DG – SCOPE.
The event was attended by more than 200 participants from SCOPE, Indian Oil, Gail, NTPC, Rotary Club, BSF and many other organizations.
The event highlighted on the prevention and curative aspects of Lung Health. The speakers for the event Dr. Arvind Kumar and Mr. Rajiv Khurana highlighted also spoke about the ‘Personal Social Responsibility’ of taking care of ours as well as other lungs by fighting the social evils like Smoking, Waste Burning, Air Pollution etc. Dr. Kumar spoke to the group about changing colour of our lungs from pink to black due to our changing environment, increased Air Pollution and smoking.
The participants also got an opportunity to get their Lung Function test through PFTs and get the reports reviewed by Dr. Kumar.
